SOE Alumni Association

The SOE Alumni Association supports SOE’s mission of effectively preparing educators and other education personnel for professional performance in diverse cultural contexts. It serves as a connection for which SOE alumni can give back to their alma mater by sharing their talents, resources, etc. in different SOE events. It further serves as a source for developing alumni pride, spirit, and life-long commitments to the School of Education.

UOG Founder's Day Gala - June 30, 2012

SEE YOU AT THE UOG FOUNDER’S DAY GALA, JUNE 30!
I especially want to take this opportunity to encourage you to attend the upcoming Founder’s Day Gala scheduled for Saturday, June 30, from 6p.m. to 10p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Guam, Grand Ballroom.
We will formally celebrate the University’s rich past and promising future – there will be no other celebration like the gala this year.
As one of the organizers for this signature event, I can assure you that you will have a fun and exciting time!
VIP Treatment!
When you first walk in, you will receive special VIP treatment with red carpet runway interviews and professional photos in front of a large media wall.
Unforgettable Dinner!
You will be treated to an elegant and festive dining atmosphere and an outstanding four course plated dinner (see menu below, a vegan option is also available).
Selection of oven fresh rolls
Salad: Mixed greens with piquant roasted pepper coulis and garlic bruschetta
Soup: Cream of roasted field mushrooms with herbs
Main Course: Filet of selected beef tenderloin Wellington and Mirin broiled salmon, served with seasonal garden vegetables, oven roasted red potatoes, mushroom red wine sauce
Dessert: Grand dessert surprise
Coffee, iced or hot tea
Surprise Entertainment!
We won’t serve up long speeches - rather, you will be treated to world class performances by the University Jazz band, University Singers, and other special surprise numbers by alumni.

The After Party!
When the festivities wrap up at 10p.m., we will be holding the after party at Kentos, a popular dance club within the Hyatt facility. Prepare to dance to old school, disco, and R&B music!
