SOE Alumni Association

The SOE Alumni Association supports SOE’s mission of effectively preparing educators and other education personnel for professional performance in diverse cultural contexts. It serves as a connection for which SOE alumni can give back to their alma mater by sharing their talents, resources, etc. in different SOE events. It further serves as a source for developing alumni pride, spirit, and life-long commitments to the School of Education.

UOG Charter Day - March 14

The University of Guam will celebrate its 49th Charter Day on Tuesday, March 14,2017! Opening Ceremonies begin at 9 a.m. in the Center Courtyard, and activities run throughout the day until 5 p.m. The event is open to the public.

Each year, Charter Day is the largest public event at the University with nearly 5,000 people visiting the campus. This year’s theme is "Tritons United." Be on the lookout for the Trident, the University’s official hand sign, which helps unite us as a campus community.

The entire campus will have activities and events for the whole family including food, games, live entertainment, campus tours, presentations at the Marine Lab and WERI, the CHamoru Language Competition, agricultural displays, Isla Center for the Arts annual Art-A-Thon, President's Cup finals, and more!

Adios Anita

It is with great sadness that we bid Adios to one of UOG School of Education's finest employees. Anita was wise, witty, amazing, and a hard worker who had the heart of gold to help fellow colleagues and ultimately the students. God bless, and rest in peace our dear friend. You will always be remembered.

RIP Anita Tenorio Palomo
