SOE Alumni Association

The SOE Alumni Association supports SOE’s mission of effectively preparing educators and other education personnel for professional performance in diverse cultural contexts. It serves as a connection for which SOE alumni can give back to their alma mater by sharing their talents, resources, etc. in different SOE events. It further serves as a source for developing alumni pride, spirit, and life-long commitments to the School of Education.

SOE Alumni Update: Dr. Seuss Activities









ACEI-Sponsored Literacy Events:



A Wacky Wednesday/Read Across America, Saturday, March 7, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Hagatna Public Library

* Students and children will come dressed in mixed-match clothes and wacky hair styles.
* PowerPoint Read Aloud, Wacky Wednesday by Dr. Seuss
* Shadow Puppets (a 25 min. show sharing different Dr. Seuss books)
* Song-a-long, Student's original Dr. Seuss songs on PowerPoint
* Dance/Movement using streamers
* Hats-on-Parade - Children with their parents will create their wacky Dr. Seuss hat
* Arts and Crafts- Children will participate in 2 or 3 craft ideas
* Dr. Seuss Pinatas on Display
* Merienda



Dr. Seuss Activity Celebration, Wednesday, March 4, 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Naval Base Library
